Dr Bronner's Castile Soaps

August 23, 2018

Hello Everybody,

This is Dylan Spralja, a current student at Orange Coast College with a passion for sustainability, better transparent business, and environmental preservation. I am currently interning for Derek Sabori, founder of The Underswell. He also does work with Volcom’s sustainability team and co-owns a sustainable mens yoga clothing line named KOZM. I welcome anyone to this blog who has an interest in making a positive impact on this earth we call home.

Today I will be talking about Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soaps but they also have many amazing products such as lotions, toothpastes, hair care products, baby products, lip balms, hand sanitizers, biodegradable multi-purpose cleaners, and organic coconut oil. I currently use both the toothpaste and the soaps and would recommend to anyone. Dr. Bronner’s Soaps is a perfect example of how a family company can be committed to making socially and environmentally responsible products of organic biodegradable ingredients and dedicating their profits to help make positive impacts.

Emmanuel Bronner, a third generation master soap maker from a german-jewish soap making family, founded Dr. Bronner’s Soap in 1948. Dr. Bronner’s soap is “a family business committed to making socially and environmentally responsible products of the highest quality and dedicating our profits to help make a better world. All-One!” All ingredients are organic and fair trade. Emmanuel, or as his family called him Emil, used the labels on his ecological soaps to spread his message that we must realize our unity across religious and ethnic divides or perish: “We are All-One or None!”

Today the company is still family owned and dedicated to make socially and environmentally responsible products and dedicating profits to help make a better world. Emmanuel Bronner believed that it was only right to, “share the profits with the workers and the earth from which you made it!” The Bronner family is proud to promote activism and charitable giving, to their employees, customers and suppliers. It is very important to them that their products have a real and positive impact on the people and communities worldwide that make them. Dr. Bronner’s Soap has been B Corp Certified since July 2015.

Using Dr. Bronner’s Soaps has many benefits; organic, vegan, versatile, ecological, biodegradable, and free of any toxins. Castile soap, made of vegetables, is gentle to the environment because it is free of artificial foaming agents, colors, fragrances, chemical detergents, petrochemicals and toxic antibacterial agents. The natural ingredients and chemical free formula of these natural castile soaps are even safe for babies. Dr. Bronner’s 18-in-1 Pure-Castile Soaps are used for any cleaning task; face, body, hair, food, dishes, laundry, mopping, and pets. Clean your house and body with no synthetic preservatives, detergents or foaming agents.

I hope everyone enjoys Dr. Bronner’s products and can feel good knowing they are supporting a sustainable, transparent business, that’s only purpose is to create a positive impact on our environment. I really appreciate your time reading this article and would love for you to keep up with my blog discussing further better sustainable transparent business and environment preservation.
